Our Favorite Myrtle Beach Food and Drink Options

Myrtle Beach is bustling with the summer season, with guests flocking to experience our stunning coastline, our exciting attractions, and the ever-popular live entertainment and shopping opportunities. But The Grand Strand isn’t just known for its plethora of thrilling activities and beach fun! Every year, guests delight in experiencing the local flair that Myrtle Beach has to offer. If you’re a fan of delicious local brews, libations, and beachy cuisine, The Grand Strand has countless opportunities for you to indulge in some tasty pleasures, with plenty of fantastic breweries that are perfect for a night out with friends, decompressing in the middle of a busy vacation, or just taking in some local flavor.

New South Brewing is one of our personal favorite breweries in the area, and one of the most popular as well. Sitting near the always bustling Boardwalk, New South Brewing has served up over 10 deliciously unique beers for guests and locals alike since 1998. New South features plenty of indoor and outdoor space, so you and your party can spread out and enjoy some delicious brews while taking in the relaxing ocean air blowing in from the shore.

After a long day of shopping and fun experiences at Barefoot Landing, what could be better than kicking back and enjoying a delicious craft beer? Now, at one of Barefoot Landing’s newest additions, you can! Pay a visit to Crooked Hammock Brewing Company for all your tasty brew needs. With a multitude of beers consistently on tap, as well as rotating seasonal choices, there’s no shortage of drinks for every palate. Be sure to make time to relax in their “backyard,” their own outdoor space with games, picnic tables, and hammocks to relax on. Don’t miss out on their tours as well, with up-close views of their brewing facilities with private tastings.

If you’re more in the mood for some delicious beach dining, be sure to plan a meal around Crabby Mike’s, Myrtle Beach’s preeminent seafood buffet for over 29 years. Crabby Mike’s has been host to the area’s best crab legs, Calabash style seafood, and more, all featured in one of the most robust buffets on the Grand Strand. From fresh Alaska Snow Crab Legs to slow roasted Prime Rib and even a delicious raw seafood bar, Crabby Mike’s has everything for every taste palate to make your dinner memorable and filled with beachy memories.

Even though Myrtle Beach is renowned for its casual dining and wonderful beach food, there are still many fine dining options as well! One of our personal favorites is the Aspen Grille, centrally located on Kings Highway. Blending the southern hospitality and authentic low-country cuisine with some of the finest menu choices, including USDA Prime steaks, market-fresh seafood and an exemplary wine list, Aspen Grille is the perfect spot for a high-class night of indulgence.

And these are just a couple of our favorite spots to eat and drink in the area, with plenty more options for every taste! Be sure to ask our front desk about more great restaurants and bars during your next stay, and let us know your favorites!

Surpasses Our Expectations!
